What is your full name and date of birth? Where were you born? My full name is Aaliyah Chanel Jackson and I was born on December 24, 1990 right here in Westbrook Maine.

How well do you get along with your parents? Honestly, my parents and I have a relationship that's a lot like most people's. There's days when we get along, there's days when we hate each other, but at the end of the day, we love each other. I think I'm closer to my mom, though, than my dad.

Tell us a little bit about your childhood. Are there any specific memories that are significant to you? Do you have any siblings? If so, how do you get along with them? There really aren't any specific memories that stand out to me. I had a very normal childhood. I wasn't fortunate enough to have any siblings, as I am an only child.

Have you lived in Westbrook your entire life? If not, tell us about the other places you have lived. Yep I was born and raised right here.

What qualities do you look for in a friend? In a significant other? I look for the same qualities in both a friend and in a significant other. I deeply value honesty and loyalty in both types of relationships. Basically, I want a person who is loyal to me, honest, but also has a sense of humor and likes to have fun.

What grade are you in? Do you enjoy school? I’ll be a senior when School starts back and I like school pretty well I guess.

What is your favorite/least favorite class and why? I definitely like English because I love to write...and I don’t like PE because I hate to run

What's your favorite guilty indulgence? warm bubble baths, scented candles and chocolate.

If you could have dinner with anyone in all of history, who would it be, and why? I'd love to have dinner with Rosa Parks because she stood up, not just for being black but for also being a woman.

Do you have any lifelong goals? Dreams? I want to travel all around the world because I love all the different types of cultures.

When you were younger, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a teacher. I've always felt this need to learn and to help others want to learn and understand various aspects and topics.

How do you handle confrontations? I don't like confrontations so I tend to avoid them. However, whenever I happen to be faced with one, I go for it head on. It's not worth it to just let something simmer and build up when you can take care of it quickly.

Describe a defining moment in your life. A defining moment? Wow, there's been so many major moments in my life. I can't really name just one off the top of my head at the moment.

What is good and what is evil? I'm good, and pop quizzes are EVIL. They're the devil incarnate!

The world will end tomorrow. What do you do today? Spend the remaining 24 hours with my loved ones. I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather be than with my family

Is there any truth to the saying: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Do you have enemies? Do you have more friends than enemies? No, I don't agree with that saying at all. If people are your enemies, then why would you want them to be closer to you? I'm sure I have enemies, but I know I have more friends than enemies.

What do you think are your best qualities? And your worst? I think my best quality is that I'm a relatively friendly person. And that's probably my worst quality too because sometimes it's like I don't take life seriously enough.

Who has had the most influence on your life? Definitely my mom. I'd love to eventually find a good man and settle down. I want to be a mother someday, and I hope I can be as good of a mom to my own children as my mom has been to me.

Does heartache make you stronger? I wouldn't really know. I've never really experienced heartache or been brokenhearted over someone or something.
Describe the best 24 hours you ever had. Oh goodness. There really isn't a day that totally stands out to me. I just don't think it's happened yet.

What is the biggest lie you ever told? What were the consequences? I tend not to lie. But I guess my biggest lie I ever told was when I said that I was staying at a friend's house but we were really going to a concert. I was grounded for a month

What is the scariest thing that has ever happened to you? Scariest thing that ever happened to me was when I totalled my car in an accident. Thankfully, I walked away without a scratch, but it was still terrifying.

What is your most treasured possession and why? My most treasured possession is this locket that my parents bought me for my 13th birthday. I only take it off when I have to shower.

What is your favorite time of day? Why? I'd have to go with early morning. I like watching the world basically wake up.

In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would you do? Oh God, I'd probably scream and hide
